Hey I don't think this is a brown recluse. The only spiders that make the round 'spider web' are orb weavers, commonly called garden spiders.
Looks like a triangulate cobweb spider. I've been told they can have a nasty bite but officially they are considered non-venomous.
It's one of the gray tree frogs, genus Hyla. Both overlap in range and are indistinguishable from each other except for their calls. It's either a Cope's or Northern gray tree frog. Also they come in many color variations.
Actually I placed it on purpose though it's more indirect. The Kincaid's lupine is the sole host plant for the Fenders Blue Butterfly.
How big is that? It looks more like a swallow nest?
I can't see the tail but it looks like it could be a golden tailed sapphire. If the tail was bronzey then definitely what you saw. :)
