We have 4 types of Cobras in the Philippines.

Endemic (All are spitters)
1. Naja philippinensis (The on in your photo)
2. Naja samarensis
3. Naja miolepis

1. Ophiophagus hannah - King Cobra

Yes, we have King Cobras in the Philippines and I used to keep them.

DianaJ.Limjoco - I hope it's not yet late but this particular sp. is from Bicol province. They are not so common in the pet trade (at least now) since they are very hard to keep in captivity and mostly feed on frogs and house geckos and very few will take mice or pinkies.

They are also fast striker and they carry hemotoxin venom and I don't think we have antivenin for that :-)
