So cute! I recently read that we have flying squirrels in my area but I have never seen any. Maybe I'll try the peanuts in the bird feeder like you've got there :)

How do they get like that? Is it from being attacked?

And this one is also a house sparrow, but he's male.

I think that's a female house sparrow. Very cute :)

Oh I am so jealous, I want to live in Alaska too, this guy is beautiful. We have red foxes in my area too but I don't see them often and you guys have bears and moose and sea lions and all kinds of great stuff! So lucky!

Yeah that's what I thought when I saw it too ): I didn't have the opportunity to see if it was having any trouble flying because it didn't leave the bush. Hope its okay.
