I guess it makes sense Austin. They just sound exactly like flies to me. There's a distinct difference in the sound of wasps and bees flying as opposed to flies. I'm weird though, always running around the woods with my camera like a crypto-zoologist looking for Bigfoot.

I've seen a couple like this around here but nowhere as many as the black and yellow millipedes. This place is crawling with them.

I found a large group of these little guys on a single milkweed plant in Michigan about a month ago. Really cool looking.
