California Poppy is a mild sedative and pain reliever, and it can help to acutely lower blood pressure. You can tincture the whole fresh plant, including roots, as remedy.

It looks like Phoradendron juniperinum. What kind of Juniper is the mistletoe in? This is not the mistletoe associated with Christmas in the States, Viscum album, but they are both hemiparasites in the sandalwood family.

When identifying a plant it is helpful to show an image of the whole plant with the leaves and stems, along with a brief description of the habitat it was found in including the geographic location.
