Hi chesterbperry! Thank you for your help with this ID. ...and yes, I did photograph this on the 12th of January! I was so surprised to see something blooming! A grouping, approximately 2ft. by 2ft. wide, was located in a sheltered area. The week prior to my sighting had been incredibly warm for this time of year...in the 60s.

Thank you chesterbperry and DaneCole for your help with this ID. I compared Resurrection Fern to Christmas Fern. The stems I saw were much shorter (~ 6 in.) than what I read is typical for a Christmas Fern. The ferns I saw were also in large clusters spread across logs and rocks, very much like the images I saw of the Resurrection Fern. ...so beautiful.
