I would appreciate if you could also add this into my fig mission: https://www.projectnoah.org/missions/237...
Hi Rachel. Got the species - Ficus malayana. This is called the earth fig because the fruits grow from the roots on the ground. Really interesting that it looks parasitic although it is not. Maybe the bright red is just to attract animals to consume it.
Wow! A massive one. Did you get any chance to revisit?
Hi Lenny. Finally found the species after 7 long years. Haha. This is a Ficus rosulata.
This is a palm tree Malcolm. I'm not sure which species too
Awesome figs Shauming! I have added this into my new mission: Fantastic Figs of Borneo

Wow! Never seen this species before. Really interesting figs. Are these in RDC by chance?
Hi Malcolm, I know this tree well. Must be on the way up the forested hill stair to the viewing platform above. This is a Ficus variegata by the way.
I would love it if you could add this to my new mission: Fantastic Figs of Borneo

Hi Roland, I have added this spotting into my new "Figs of Borneo" mission.
Can you still remember the exact location of this fig? Is the map pin accurate? Ficus craterostoma is not found in Borneo so I am interested to find out which species this fig actually is.
