HAHAHA...my necklace was made by some Maasai women that were selling them near a camp I stayed at in the Maasai Mara on the escarpment.

Also, Carol, this big guy was only about 10-12 feet from our Land Rover, so no need for a super zoom on him. He was up close and personal...

Carol, I use a Canon EOS30D (it's old). As far as lenses go, the one I use most is a zoom 70-300mm, also a zoom 28-135mm, and for wide close ups I use a 17-40mm. Nice lenses but not like the big ones many photographers use. We get close enough that what I have works quite nicely.

Carol, I was just in Kenya again last October. I have been to Africa 16 times and hope to get back real soon, but nothing planned at the moment.
