Apparently these are a native species of stink bugs unlike the brown invasives you see all the time! Super cool!!

I'm almost certain this is of the genus Evaniidae but can't find anything conclusive on what species lives in your area

Oh I love these! If you brush against the seed pods they explode & that's why they're called touch-me-nots some places, which is super cool. Plus they're just generally really pretty.

These kinda of caterpillars turn that color when they're about to pupate apparently!

I think it's just your run of the mill praying mantis, they can have different colorations depending on what's best suited for where they live but they're still the same species
