Great shots. I just love these little guys!
Thanks Bayucca - I will just continue to act as if it is the very bad one, and stay out of the garden when I see these guys around.
Hi Bayucca,
Karen L recommended that I leave a comment in one of your post requesting help on a spot. I have a caterpillar that I am trying to identify. I suspect it is the Lonomia Obliqua, which is very dangerous. I was wondering if you could help confirm this. I am mostly curious because I find these around my house. the link to the spotting is: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/767......
I love this picture, especially since I am aware of the threat to the Tassie Devils and the stress their population is under. It is great to be able to see the rescue efforts.
I love the little joey.
Not sure - is Bonorong an animal rehabilitation/sanctuary near Hobart? If it is, that is probably where we were! We just happened to see it as we were driving and stopped in, so I do not remember exactly where we were.
Good call on the eviction notice. Their bites can be quite nasty.
I thought it was, but everything I have read about monarchs do not show they can be found in Brazil.
