A very beautiful flower, especially when it grows in large groups, from a distance a field of blooming lupine looks like a solid field of blue!

Thanks, Angel! There were a lot of these in the area where we were camping. I was amazed at the details I could see in the photo that I couldn't see in "real life". A friend pointed out the "steeple" at the end of the tail
