My friend has a guide and she said it looks like either what Gina said, Inocybe fastigiata or Entoloma spp.
it almost looks like an inky cap after it's released it's spores!
Adorable picture! You can tell it's an American Toad because it only has 1 wart per black spot. If it had 2 warts per black spot it would be a Fowler's Toad, which are mostly found in the dunes on the west side of the state (this rule, like most in biology, sometimes doesn't apply). American Toads are the most common amphibian I see around Michigan.
Not positive if this is what I suggested, but I work with Greek tortoises at least once a week and this looks almost exactly like them. These aren't native to America so it could have been a released pet or something completely different!
