Mostly harmless. Grew up watching NatGeo documentaries instead of cartoons! I love wildlife and photography!

Sign In to followThank you Samuya and Lauren. Adarsha: the tricky part is that they remain invisible underwater until the last second before jumping, but in this case, the mother gave away his position ;)
Yes, the Hitchhiker's Guide :) I actually thought a lot about Douglas Adams and his article "Riding the Rays" during this trip!
Thank you! Gilma, I uploaded a couple other spottings of my recent trip to this region. It is amazing indeed!
Thanks Sachin, waking in black and white he surly is a distinguished fellow! (I edited the pics, the last one is now the second one)
Thank you Luis, it certainly looks like a Stenocereus, I'm not sure about griseus or queretaroensis. It's hard to believe they are edible, the desert was full of them!
Uploaded the first photo again, hope it's working now.
I really want to see how they fly! with that size it would be like a flying fox!
Yes, and also your thumbnail isn't showing. Try to fix that, it's a shame when no one can se how nice a spotting is because of a missing thumbnail (just happen to me with my latest spotting I was really proud of :( ...)
did he really posed for that first portrait? Amazing!
Thank you all, I thought I should include the carrion he was feeding on in the series.
