Most birds are either honeyeaters or pied .You have pied currawongs,pied butcher birds,pied oyster catchers ,pied cormorants .Name it and it is either a honey eater or pied.

Thanks Neil. Still missing the beautiful country. What was surprising is that out of the 30 tourists that was in our tour, I was the only one who saw these. The others were literally blind to birds. Their loss.They did show interest in mammals however..

Also similar looking birds would be the Chough and black honeyeater.
