Most of the ones that grow here are smaller, but I have some larger ones in my yard right now.

Thanks for the ID, Keith. That makes sense. I found a White-lined Sphinx Moth Caterpillar in my garden last year and photographed it. Didn't know what the adults looked like.
That's quite a large group of caterpillars, and such a pretty yellow color.
You must have quick reflexes to capture such a clear image of a bird in flight.
