I believe that is some kind of stink bug, or a squash bug which has the appearance of a stink bug.

I don't know the scientific name of this insect, but it is a cricket. We have those in Washington State. I love listening to them in the evening, because it seems that is when they are active. They rub their two hind legs together and makes sounds with them.

This beetle infests my home in the NW, Washington St. It seems to show up in the summer. It lives mostly around the doors and windows. It flies and has a reddish brown color on its belly. I don't think it bites, but is a nuisance. I would appreciate any info about it, please.
