That would make sense since I had a Chinese Mantis cocoon in my yard as well.

yea it seems more fly like than bee or wasp - it didn't have a stinger on it and the blue wings were very beautiful and vibrate. Its what caught my attention!

wow thats so awesome- I did see a few very small green ones around the garden but I didnt realize that they were hatched from that.

no problem .. how do i know when they hatch? What will it look like afterward and what will the the mantic look like??
