Great Series.....
Great Pics......Friendly, curious, mischiveous creature.....
Thank you everyone for the kind words, and for project Noah giving me the honor of the spotting of the day, I will continue to strive to bring the best photographs of the amazing creatures that we share this wonderful planet with...
ceherzog,
As I thought this was a large snake, it has been brought up that it is most likely a large glass lizard, after looking at pictures, I would have to agree, either way, I am very excited to have witnessed this.
Maria db,
Yes, if you look at a couple of the other postings I have of her feeding, you can see her feeding a small regurgitated mammal of some sort.
ceherzog,
Appeared to be a large garter snake, when I first noticed her with it and did not have camera with me, the snake was only about 25% consumed and still alive and writhing in her beak, these pictures were what I captured after I first noticed her with it and had to run inside and grab camera.
This excellent series could go in the Hunters and Animal Feeding Behavior
mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8463......
