I saw this is from Huntington, IN - is this the nest across the river at Tel-Hy?

Yukocharter, they are indeed! exciting that the project has come full circle. released these guys, the offspring, in our family woods today- they flew off together through the trees. such a rewarding experience.

black cherry leaves. I introduced willow as well, temporarily, so I could ease a handful of them into being released on a willow tree nearby. They took to it quite readily- but seem to prefer cherry if there's a choice.

I've never seen a cecropia with spikes this color... they're usually red, yellow and blue. bizarre! wondering if the differences have to do with environmental/dietary differences...
