No we found this bat hanging low in a canal we were jeeeping in. This cute little genius was just cold. No one likes getting out of bed :).

You know, I've never once seen a chicken cross a road, though, I've heard and seen pictures of tons of pictures of turtles that have crossed roads. Hey, why did the turtle cross the road? To get 8 favorites. C'mon, this actually makes sense!

If it's a Garter Snake, look for the checkerboard pattern with a light stripe down the middle of the snake. Cool spotting, I have never seen a reddish Garter Snake before!
