A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I'm an explorer. I love learning about the outdoors. I'm especially interested in trees and the folk lore of our local plants and animals.

Would you be willing to add these photos to my new mission on Florida Invasives.
Thanks.
Yes, sadly all too familiar. Would you be willing to add this spotting to my new mission for Florida Invasives.
This is a nice picture of the fruit when it begins to form. Then it can lengthen to almost a foot before dropping into the water and floating off.
This looks like the propagule of a red mangrove.
Congratulations MichaelMorris. What a cool looking plant!
Great job photographing and describing this butterfly. I think I will recognize it now if I see one. Thanks for a great lesson.
Beautiful photo! What are the metal containers that bird is looking at? Was the egret getting food from them?
The one I picked doesn't seem ripe and not a bit juicy or flavorful.
Wow, nice otter pictures. How long did he let you watch him?
Very interesting video to see how this manatee kept pushing off from the bottom with its front flippers as it swam. I often see manatee near my home in central Florida, but our water is not clear enough to see how they move underwater. Thanks for sharing this cool video
