Oh wow, how exciting to be the spot of the day!! Thank you and thank you all for your lovely comments.

Someone asked if the pics of the octopus were on the same day. No they weren't, they were about a week apart. They are all of the same species though, and all taken in relatively the same location.

I'll be uploading some more pics soon. And once again, thank you!!!! :)

Just added some more pics. They're not the same octopus, but they are the same species - Octopus tetricus (or Gloomy Octopus)

It looks very much like a Swimming Anemone, also known as a Brain Anemone.
