We have a similar plant here, called cattails. The seed pod is a dark velvet brown and if you dry them, they call be burned to keep Mosquitos away.

I can only tell you it's a fairly common inchworm; also called a spanworm. Check out What's That Bug to better identify it.

That is definitely a Canadian Goose, just not sure how it got to Germany. But then, there are plenty of peacocks and swans to be seen in the USA.
