I find smaller birds (not parrots or aerials) of bush and open country are always super hard to distinguish from one another
I think it looks like the Jacky Winter as well http://bird.net.au/bird/images/c/cb/Jack...... But what's throwing me is the illustrations in my field guides show brownish plumage
