Thanks Aaron. I've been meaning to catch up on my spottings (I have A LOT), but I've been busy lately and am focusing on some career stuff right now. I'm hoping that in a few months things will slow down and I can upload some more pictures.

Luis, how do the antennae distinguish this species? I've seen pictures of other species and can't really tell the difference.

Latimeria Straight-Snouted Weevil

I'm with Keith, it's a weevil in the family Brentidae. It does have an odd shape, but the "snout" is distinctive of the weevils.

You see those on the instars, here's a clearer picture: http://bugguide.net/node/view/651773/bgi.... I'm not sure what exactly they are, other than areas on the abdomen.

A late instar nymph.

Latimeria Assassin bug

Looks like a corsair, subfamily Peiratinae (http://bugguide.net/node/view/374399).

Watch out, these caterpillars have defensive hairs that can cause allergic reactions if they touch your skin.

Latimeria Predatory Stink Bug Eggs (Asopinae)

Stink bug eggs, family Pentatomidae. I've seen references to Podisus sp., but I haven't researched that enough.

Latimeria Desmia Moth

I'm not sure that I can quite trust that. BugGuide disputes that character as unreliable based on what Brian Scholtens (an entomologist) says here: http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.ed.... Rather, examination of the mouthparts or genitalia is needed, they say.

I don't agree with that ID, freelancing. It doesn't look like that species occurs outside of Europe, and it doesn't look the same as this spotting.
