Wonderful photos! I love the vireos, but have never seen their babies or nests - so thank you! ...the infamous Brown Headed Cowbird strikes again... Here's hoping the baby vireo survived its infiltrator nest mate, because the vireo hatched before the cowbird and hopefully got bigger faster!

Thanks Livan! I had not heard of the Hercules Club tree. Google shows Hercules Club with pointed protrusions and spikes. This tree seems to have wider/lateral protrusions, and no spikes.
