LOL...no I thought it was a fish, but in other pictures, I saw it was another water fowl...the cormorant! He popped up in many of the pictures. An alligator would have been much more fun! ; )

I just love these birds. My lens could not do this one justice, but I do have some closer shots from different days I can dig up.
