LoriCrowderNewman Northern Water Snake
Northern Water Snake commented on by LoriCrowderNewman Georgia, USA11 years ago

Thanks, Kevin! Now I know the difference in the two! And no, I always leave snakes alone, and I am not afraid of them like so many people are. They don't want to bother us like some people think they do! We were in Pine Mountain, Ga for a family reunion, fishing in this lake. I only zoomed in with my phone camera to get a close up picture, but I did not try to bother him. When I see a snake, I know that this is it's home, and IT belongs where it is, I am the intruder. This is actually a young one; saw another in the same place that was about a foot long.
