It looks like a bullfinch, but I'm not sure whether you geth them where you are??

i must be giving out pheromones...ha ha not really, i used a light trap on many occasions over the summer and have just got round to uploading the pictures. i left my i.d. book at work over the weekend-will add the names next week.

looks like a lacewing. they're great in the garden as the larva eat aphids! we have them in the uk but they hibernate during the winter, so i'm always disturbing them from their hiding places in the polytunnel.
