Really nice beetle. I remember the ones in China. The had similar shells, though I am not sure if they were the same genus.
WOW! why did no one else comment on or favorite this? This bird is brilliant!
A Great Spotting!
It seems to have a thick red beak, definitely not for fish. What does it feed on?
Nice spotting!
Herons are very interesting birds.
RANDOM FACT:

Consider your minds blown. You are welcome.
Great spotting!
Do you go gliding? (as in a glider) My dad's interested in that. He goes Paragliding, and when he gets a licence, I will go with him to photograph the Kestrels, Buzzards, Hawks, and other birds he flies with!
30-70. ok. Unfortunately, seeing as I have school, Kendo, Chinese, French, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Polish, Coursework (DINO 101 on COURSERA) I don't really have much time. I wish you good birding!

I must say this is a great find, just like Venusflytrap11, and that it is also a great picture
IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOT, and the bird is also beautiful.
