Fantastic shot!
Thanks for the ID Zlatan!
The Cuckoo-finch is a weaver - a parasitic one. Not 100% sure about the ID though, so any ratification would be great! :)
Or a Cuckoo-finch? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuckoo-f...
Could it be a Yellow Canary? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_c...
Hi Muckpuk, yes a fantastic and unforgettable experience - unfortunately, I was only on the island for a couple of hours. Next time I'll stay for longer! A guide managed to take me on an extended walk but the only dragons spotted were on the periphery of the ranger station - not sure that was fortunate or unfortunate! :)
Hi Muckpuk, no this was not a guided walk. This was a self-guided walk through the forest path at the back of the rehabilitation centre. Not a very long walk either, unfortunately (my travel companion started getting cold feet after a while and we had to backtrack - imagine what else we could have seen)! :)
Thanks again Felix!
Thanks for id Felix!
