Putkov Alexander, thanks for the ID. I read that Weeping conk always appear at the base of the tree. In this case, all the fungi was more at eye-level. None at the base. It also appeared to have a smooth surface, aside from the visible secretions. Could this still be it?

Interesting. Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of trees they were. I cannot even remember if the trees were alive. At least one was dead and was essentially a stump taller than me. But I think they both might have been dead, actually.
