Choosing between the two is rather tricky!
I believe this is 'Apodemus sylvaticus' due to the eyes, ears and tail length appearing smaller than what I would expect for the yellow-necked mouse. There also wasn't a clear demarcation between the upper coat colour and the white parts below when I was observing. I wish I had a better photograph!
