He is awesome! We have spent much time looking for such a rarity. His pattern is beautiful, you are so lucky to have treed him and got so close. Nice!

Yes, I thought that too. Actually these guys were all over this garden, I got the impression they are extremely common. I thought he was the same speckled lipped skink that I had seen in Tanga, but looking closer I think the orange is quite strong and he is different... but not sure..
Definitely cute!
