I cannot find any record in the Hebrew references, but it is a common plant in the Negev Desert in S Israel. I will check also in our herbarium.

This is probably Prospero hanburyi
I'm so happy they still survive in Sinai, I was sure they got extinct already there.
It walks on Mentha longifolia var. schimperi, called by the Bediun "habag", the best mint !
B. ciliaris and B. linariifolia - are not present in Sinai
in Sinai u have only Blepharis attenuata, edulis was given there by mistakre
