I had a breeding pair as 'pets' in the house! My mom in law has them now, and I just LOVE to go listen to them and watch them, their breeding calls and 'talk' is so awesome...such neat birds!
That is a baby (most likely just hatched) Praying Mantis. I have shot of one as well, it's as small as my pinky nail or smaller. :)
That is a Cow (female) Moose....what a beauty too!
I dont normally like bee's, being allergic and the pain of a sting may have something to do with it, but these bee's are truly beautiful in color! :)
No, they are either Hens and Chicks or Sempervivum which is a plant related similar to the aloe, in that it has thick "meaty" like leaves which is where it stores it's water, and is a low laying ground covering plant, from what I've read on them.
What an amazing photo. I love frogs. This is a beautifully marked tree frog!
Looks like a pitcher plant a carnivorous plant... http://herselfshouseplants.com/2008/06/c...
So Pretty! And very petite too. :)
How truly beautiful! I love lilies, and this is by far the most unique pretty one I've seen!
