EarlyStages, thank you for your curiosity :)
My knowledge about butterflies & their larvas maybe not as good as you, so maybe I give the wrong ID. I'd tried to find the similar caterpillar & butterfly from Google, but I didn't find any. your ID suggestion Magpie Crow Larva looks similar with my caterpillar, do you have any picture of its butterfly?
All I know is that I picked 3 small caterpillars about 1 cm , 2 cm and 2.5 cm in length from a fig tree next to my house and kept them home. I fed them with fresh fig leaves until they one by one changed their selves into chrysalis and emerged into butterflies. I took the pictures in every stage.
