Sorry but I dont have any more pictures of this plant, but I can give some other details: the stem and leaves are slightly furry (leaves are only furry on the petiole and axil, and very small hairs, hardly visable, on the veins). The plant is about 20-30cm tall, and the flower about 5-7cm in diameter. Hope this helps!

Hello. On the 'preserved animals' mission information, it said to add on the map where the species originates, therefore, I changed the location of the spotting to New Guinea. Also, it is one of my own collection, as with the other spottings of preserved insects.
In addition to this, I would like to note that none of the animals were harmed when they were put into the moulds. All died of natural causes and then arranged and set into the glass.

Not sure about ruellia as the flowers do not have individual petals, but maybe a different subspecies?

I agree with Ursula- the birds are Canadian Geese.They are very common in Europe, and can be seen near almost every lake, but I dont know about the USA.
