Sign In to followHey Alice, I'll have a go. Agouti can refer to a number of different Sp. of rodent which are found in Central and South America as well as in the W.Indies. We see them on our camera traps mostly at night, but they are normally known as Diurnal (daytime) animals. They also have an amazing relationship with Brazil Nut Trees see the link.

They do open a little more, but this is fairly typical. I think you're probably right with the id. I'll give it a couple of hours then update it
