SatyenMethta: thanks!
I think you're right, i'll correct it! :D thanks!
thank you for comment! :D
yep i heard that too, but you need new shells so the can grow properly :)
at my home town, i live on an island, so we have 2 bridges, this pic was taken in one of them :)
we have on one side the gulf of mexico and in the other the terms lagoon (but is salty water)
thank you!! it's an every day image...lots of pelicans haha :)
umm well, they don't hurt them, the people who sells them just glued them the jewels and the little chain.. usually the people who buy them take care of them...
they buy the wood, and stuff.. and the bug is very safe, they only walk.. and walk.. haha :)
i bought them like 9 months ago, i feed them with almost any kind of food.meat, veggies... they have this kind of wet sponge so they can drink water, and a piece of calcium.
haha it's not a cockroach.. it's a Mexican insect called maquech. it's very popular at the south side of the country. the jewels are not expensive.. i think they're plastic most of the time. you can feed them with a kind of spongy wet wood.. they feed on the humid of the wood :)
well.... it's my pet.. i bought it :)
