Thanks!!! I have to admit...I love toads. The first wild animal I ever connected with as a little child was a Western toad living in my backyard garden in California. Sadly, toads can no longer be found in that part of California.

It is a captive animal. I noticed the Nat. Geo. spotting of the week was a captive starling and so I assumed it was ok to post photos of captive plants and animals.

Beautiful. I'd love to see this species. Have tried several times for it at Yosemite National Park but no luck yet.
