Thanks PrincessHannah - it does look that way, doesn't it? I've often noticed birds look like that when you take a photo straight on. Either that or they really don't like being photographed ;)

hi Liam,

if I recall correctly, since this was the Serengeti, it was mostly flat (very low hills at most) dry, sparse growth, acacia trees or baobabs. It was also summertime (july) Does that help?
