Yes you're right, although, I don't understand why call it a praying mantis if they're ALL praying, it's like calling birds "winged birds" or human "headed human"!

AshishNimkar- i read in Wikipedia that a lot of mantis species are being referred to as "praying mantis" by accident. do you know what are their characteristics?

yes i would have done it earlier but i couldn't find the edit option ever since i updated, thought they cancelled it! but turned out it was only a bug :)
Thank you. I believe it's the same species since both pictures were taken in Israel and according to the description it's name also has the word "fan" (in Hebrew) in it :)
