Yes it did look like that !!!MrsPbio it was on the tidal river beach got stranded on the last high tide!! some sort of jelly fish

Hi alicelong martin thankyou for your comment..It really was'nt that cold ,we're having warmer than usual october(infact year) since it was an all season suet I put it out and this flicker devoured it in about 3 days have not seen him since just jays ??

hi seahalcyon... it was prickly !! so I think your right seems to be quite a few small sitka's in the nehalem state park which is my location... the search map seems to put me all over the place!!!! thanks
