yes, the predation event was on my neighbor's tree. It is only two trees from where I found the fallen bat.
It has a short tail and large wings, yes a dark grey wings.
I've read the reference link and it appears to be S. saccolaimus.

@despina, I also think the same, it is a Bryum genus. More likely to Bryum dichotomum
