i have tried to find some info as i have never seen a pink one b4... Apparently the pink color is the result of a condition called erythrism, similar to a recessive gene that afflicts albino animals..

Thankyou all :-) they are amazing lil things to watch. And stink beetle suggestion.... I have stink beetles mating all over my lemon tree at moment.

thankyou so much...very interesting read :-) I didn't think was an Albino as its eyes were not red. Hadn't heard of Leucism before Oh..i have alot to learn :-)
