The leaves and flower color suggest Blue Dawn Flower; Ipomoea indica.

That's too bad. Would of been a neat example of heterochromia iridis.

Looks like it has a brown and blue eye each. Neat!

VineWorld Solanum
Solanum commented on by VineWorld Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India11 years ago

It is Indian Nightshade; Solanum violaceum.

VineWorld Potato Vine
Potato Vine commented on by VineWorld Lévis, Québec, Canada11 years ago

A more likely candidate is White Potato Vine; Solanum laxum.
Solanum seaforthianum does not come in white to my knowledge.

Your close! the flowers are wrong for Solanum seaforthianum. seaforthianum has very similar fruit as well but if you look close -especially at the flowers- you can see that this is indeed Bittersweet; Solanum dulcamara. The easy way to I.D. dulcamara is to see that the petals are reflexed (as opposed to the more cup like shape of seaforthianum), and that near the stamens are small white-green dots.
Excellent photos by the way!

The flowers are the exact same.

VineWorld Carolina horsenettle

This looks more like Silver-Leaved Nightshade; Solanum elaeagnifolium.

VineWorld Solanum sp.
Solanum sp. commented on by VineWorld 5152, South Australia, Australia11 years ago

Looks like Solanum nigrum or a very close relative.

VineWorld Nightshade Berries
