And now the twig has crushed it. However, black was spotted on the butterfly. Any explanations?

Wonderful photo, with a wonderful representation of parental care within insects. When I showed this to my friend, they thought the adult was eating the children. ._.

It has opened it's wings and crazily flown around now. However, it caused a tiny tear. Although it is a small tear, the butterfly refuses flight. Any tips on what I should do and when I should release it?
