Yes Tukup, some of the weevils are very special with their long "trunks".

Beautiful bug. I have not seen this when I'm walking around in Cavite. Perhaps you only find it in part of Visayas?

These are great pictures, Brian. When the wind is calm you get beautiful mirror images of the bird in the water.

The information i found about Pachyrhinus is that the usually greenish lethierryi is the only one that is discovered in Norway. It was found in an import control of thuja tree. https://www.flickr.com/photos/miljodirek...

You can edit Scientific name with Cryptopalpus ornatus.

Citrus Swallowtail is not a Phillippine butterfly, but Lime swallowtail is and it's called Common Lime over there. (Papilio demoleus demoleus)
