Very common in Canberra, especially Mt Majura and Ainsle
This was taken in a barn. I think it was more of a threat display as it was after their usual nesting season and therefore don't think she was protecting anything
Tiger Snakes are quite aggressive. My aunt's dog was bitten last week by one and didn't survive.

Yes, was in the Fakahatchee Strand. One of the last places where you have a decent chance of seeing a Florida Panther in the wild. Black bears frequent the area as well.
